Widemarsh Street Falls - age and disability impact assessment

Case reference FOI2021/00157

Published 22 November 2021

Request

Regarding Widemarsh Street, Hereford, could I also ask for any age and disability impact assessment, or any analysis of age and disability related to the pedestrians falling on Widemarsh Street, commissioned by or collaborated on by the Council since the Road Safety Audit in September 2009, up to today? (i.e., since the trip hazard was flagged up and the Council's exception report rejected the recommendation for a consistent height kerb face).

Response

The Service Area have advised that they do not hold an age or disability assessment of trips and falls on Widemarsh Street since the 2009 Road Safety Audit. Incident data rarely contains information regarding age or disability, making an assessment on this basis unfeasasible.
