For clarity - The request is for both children and adult autism, except for questions 3, 4, 5 and 6. Please can you distinguish between the both where relevant.

Q1. Do you have an Autism Strategy? If so, please share a link to your Autism Strategy.

Q2. When was your Autism Strategy last updated?

Q3. Does your area have a designated strategic lead for adults with autism e.g. an Autism Lead Role? (Please distinguish from operational lead)

Q7. Do you have a local Autism Programme Board or equivalent in place which meets at least once a year and includes representatives of at least Adult Social Care and the Clinical Commissioning Group(s)?

In regards to Adults and Childrens services, there is an Autism Strategy which can be found via the following link. The strategy covers both adults and childrens.

It was last updated in 2019 and is now in the process of review.

Yes.

Yes we do. Our Partnership Board meets at least quarterly. The membership includes both representatives from Adult Social Care and the Clinical Commissioning Group.

For question 7 we ask if your local autism board includes representatives of at least adult social care, if you have representatives of children social care as well please include this information.

Representatives from Children's social care also attend our partnership Board. The children's representative is the Head of Additional Needs

The Autism Programme Board invites anyone concerned or who has autism to attend meetings and therefore input into the Autism Strategy. We also have an Autism Task Force group which is run by the Chair.
