  4. Savings and efficiencies of £19.5 million which could include reducing accommodation costs are needed.

    Response to supplementary question (PQ19), 8/12/2023 full Council meeting:

    'Between April and September 2023, the allowance was paid to 32 Agency workers with a total cost of £126,864, as part of the terms and conditions of their contract. This represents accommodation costs for agency social workers in the Children & Young People Directorate as part of measures to respond to recruitment challenges. Payments in respect of accommodation costs are not made to permanent workers as part of their everyday role.'

    Please confirm whether or not any accommodation costs other than the above-mentioned £126,864 were paid to anyone between April and September 2023 who was engaged by Herefordshire Council whatever their employment status (for example, worker, employed, self-employed,) or contract type (for example, permanent, non-permanent, temporary, interim).

  5. I would like to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

    The National Highways definition of the Local Road Network is that portion of the Road Network for which a Local Government is responsible, and is eligible for funding from the State Government to operate and maintain.

    With this in mind, for the last calendar year (January 2023 - Dec 2023) or last full year for which you have recorded figures, please would you disclose:

    1a. The percentage of compensation claims, brought by drivers for vehicle damage from potholes in your Local Road Network, which were not paid out by your council (i.e. the total number of claims submitted to your council for pothole-related vehicle damage, versus the total number of claims paid out by your council).

  9. With reference to Freedom of Information Act 2000 I would like to request information relating to Herefordshire Council Multi Agency Referral Hub.

    1. I would like to know the number of individual referrals submitted using the Multi Agency Referral Form system (MARF).

    2. I would like to know the number that was found to be groundless or no further action required (NFA/Not Progressed).

    I would like these numbers for the calendar year or 12 month recording period that would cover in full, 2022, 2023, & 2024 to date.
