  3. I am submitting a freedom of information request about potholes in your authority area, specifically:

    • the number of potholes reported in the last 3 years. Please provide the figure for each year (2020, 2021 and 2022.)

    • the combined width of the potholes in meters for each year, again (2020,2021 and 2022.)

    • the average time in calendar days it takes to repair the potholes for each year (2020,2021 and 2022.)

    • how much is spent on repairing potholes each year? Again, for 2020, 2021 and 2022.

    • total number of potholes reported to your authority, since you began recording this data.

    • how much money has been given to drivers as compensation due to poor road conditions in the past three years in your local authority area, for 2020, 2021 and 2022.

    * How many miles of carriageway resurfacing took place in 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22?

    * Please state whether the council predominantly resurfaces using polymer modified stone asphalt, stone mastic asphalt or other?

    * Please state how much was paid out (in £) to drivers making a claim for damage caused to their vehicles due to defective road surface/potholes in 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21 and 2021/22?

  5. The questions relate to the pay of both chief executives and interim chief executives.

    1. Has your organisation hired an interim chief-executive officer(s) in the past five years (from now up until January 2018)? If this is the case, please provide their names and the dates they held the position for (if more than one interim CEOs have been in place over the past five years, please give the dates both held the position? If an interim CEO is currently in place, please make this clear.

    2. For each interim-CEO who was in place, please provide their pay (before tax). Ideally, this will be given as a daily rate - however, if this is not achievable, please provide a monthly salary or an annual one. Please include any bonuses awarded to the individual(s) during their employment. If an interim-CEO is currently in place, please provide the number of months they are expected to serve and how many of these have been served so far. If their pay changed over their term, please clarify when and how it was altered.

    3. Please provide the salary of the current chief executive (full-time not interim). If an interim-CEO is currently in place, please provide the annual salary of the most recent permanent CEO and the dates they were in the position for. As above, please provide any bonuses awarded to the CEO in this period. If the individual's salary changed over the five year term, please make this clear.

    Please may you provide me, broken down by each of the years above, with:

    -The number of fixed penalty charge notices (PCNs) issued for driving violations (not including parking), for eg (but not restricted to) using a bus lane, or crossing a restricted bridge

    -The locations where the violations took place including the name of the road/junction/bridge etc and which village/town/city etc it is in

    -The violation committed by the driver, eg using a bus lane

    -How much the driver was fined

    -Whether the PCN was appealed, the nature of the appeal, and the outcome of the appeal

    -The total amount of revenue generated, in each of the years above, from driving-related (but not parking) PCNs

    Where there is a lot of similar data for one location, please group this together, eg if 50 drivers have been fined £50 for using the same bus lane and none appealed.

  10. This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), for a copy of the documents containing the following information:

    1. Details of the average fee rates agreed with external suppliers of Independent Foster Care Services for the current year (2022/2023). This is based on only one child with no disability and excludes allowances.

    2. Details of the lowest, highest and average weekly fee rates paid to local authority carers (standard carer allowance, no extra skills payment). Please note that for question 2, we do not require details of all rates paid to individual suppliers, simply minimum, maximum and average rates payable.

    3. The number of looked after children in Foster Care as of 03 October 2022 and of those children, the percentage looked after by independent foster agencies. We would like the above information supplied to us as electronic copies. Please only state your answers in an email or Word doc., no copied tables or Excel documents.
