  6. Our FOI request relates to instances of puddles and standing water on roads / highways caused by blocked drains that may have led to splashes as vehicles drive past.

    1. Please fill in the below table regarding blocked drains on road/highways. In this instance drains are: Highway drainage systems designed to manage the rainwater that lands on the road/highway, both to prevent flooding and to protect the road surface.

    They can include a wide variety of features including but not limited to roadside surface water drains and channels/gullies, shallow channels that convey water off the road into a drainage ditch (known as 'grips' or 'letts') and storm drains.

  9. I would like to formally make a request regarding the number of reports of dog fouling complaints and the measures the council is taking to stop such complaints.

    I would like information on the following:

    How many complaints have you had in the last 12 months (March 2023-March 2024) about dog poo/dog waste being reported in public areas - i.e. in parks, on pavements, walkways, public fields, etc.?

    How many complaints have you had in the last 12 months (March 2023-March 2024) about dog poo/dog waste being reported on private property - i.e. someone's front garden, driveway, path, etc,?

    How many complaints did you have in the 12 months prior (March 2022-March 2023) about dog poo/dog waste being reported in public areas?

  10. I would like to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

    The National Highways definition of the Local Road Network is that portion of the Road Network for which a Local Government is responsible, and is eligible for funding from the State Government to operate and maintain.

    With this in mind, for the months of January through to December 2023 and - if available - for the first 3 months of 2024, please disclose:

    The total amount of money spent by your council on road maintenance, relating directly to pothole reports and repairs across your Local Road Network.
