  1. I would like to request the following information regarding homeless presentations to the local authority under the Freedom of Information Act.

    1. How many refugee/asylum seeker households presented to the local authority as homeless in October, November and December 2023 providing the reason for homelessness as "Required to leave accommodation provided by Home Office as asylum support".

    Of these how many were owed:

    a) Relief duty

    b) Prevention duty Please provide data broken down by month and supply data up to the latest month that you have available.

  2. Please provide the number and type of complaints made to the council against taxi drivers for the last five full years. (This would cover abusive drivers, dangerous driving, behaviour and rudeness, overcharging, refused fares, smoking (in vehicles), and unlicensed drivers.)

  3. I would like to know how much money in contracts from the council has been given to the following companies since July 2017: Kingspan and Rydon .

    Following the Grenfell fire how many council tower blocks (over 18 meters high) were identified as having flammable cladding (likely made from aluminium composite material).

    How many of these high rises still have flammable cladding?

    How many other council-owned buildings, under 18m, currently have flammable cladding?

    I would like this broken down into building type - school, hospital ect

    How long has the bus shelter outside 10 Barrs court road been out of use.

  5. Please let me know exactly what has been done to deliver "safer routes to school initiatives" and exactly what has been done to deliver "new 20mph speed limits in appropriate areas across the City"

    Herefordshire Council has been successful in its bid for £19.9m of funding from the national 'Levelling-Up Fund' to help deliver a package of transport and active travel measures.

    There will also be Safer Routes to School initiatives, and new 20mph speed limits in appropriate areas across the City, to increase safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

  7. I am writing under the Freedom of Information Act to request the following information:

    1. How many children have received SEND home to school transport every year since 2018/19 including the present year 2023/24 (please break down by year)

    2. What was your annual total spend on SEND home to school transport every year since 2018/19 (please break down by year). Please also provide your forecast spend for 2023/24.

  8. Could you please share information about the following:

    What is the length of your asphalt paved roads? Could you give an estimate of the annual budget for resurfacing/maintaining them?

    How often is the road and related asset condition assessed? When was the last time a report on the road surface quality was conducted?

    Do you use a Pavement Management System (PMS), and/or other tools to make planning and coordination easy?

    Do you have a full and comprehensive inventory of all the road assets (road signs, light poles, etc.) that the municipality owns such as location, condition, etc?

    How many insurance cases were reported about car and bicycle damages/accidents last year due to the road condition?

    How many reports or requests to fix road infrastructure damages did you receive from citizens concerning your roads last year?

    If there are publicly available reports or documents with this information please share them.

  9. Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:

    1) Have the Local Authority instructed an RICS accredited Property Advisory company to raise Council revenue from business rates by either identifying properties which have been undervalued in the Rating List or identifying properties which are not in the Rating List but are complete and have not been valued for business rates purposes?

    Our request does not relate to Rating Advisors who have been appointed by the Council to review and Challenge Rateable Values on their own Local Authority assets.

  10. 1. The Council's spend on agency workers (both on-framework and off-framework);

    2. Which framework/s the Council is using and when does the contract/s expire;

    3. If not using a framework, which provider/s and when does the contract/s expire.

    4. Agency spend by job roles/service area. If possible, it would be helpful for this information to go back the last 12 months, financial or calendar, or failing that any information you might have from recently.
