  1. Under the Freedom of Information Act, please can you provide me with information on:

    For last year (2022/23), and within the local authority area:

    (a) What was the average cost to relevant providers of delivering Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs);

    (b) How many EHCPs specified teaching assistant support under Section F.

    For (a), please can the average cost be provided as both (i) the mean and (ii) the median, where held.

    If information is held on the average cost of EHCPs, but that information is calculated on a different basis to that outlined above, then please could those estimates be provided instead.

    If information is held on the average cost of EHCPs, but those estimates are not inclusive of all providers (for example, if NHS providers are not included), then please could the estimates for the providers that figures are held for be given instead.

    For clarification for Support work I am referring to any part of a direct payment that is allocated to a resident to use to purchase care from one or more persons. This may be a personal assistant or a care agency.

    It is distinct from respite and day services which are usually place based.

    3. How much is paid weekly to people with a learning disability, autism or both (or their carers) under short breaks scheme, to how many people and what is the average weekly payment. Broken down to the following groups?

    a) 0-6 year olds

    b) 7 - 12 year olds

    c) 13 - 17 year olds

    d) 18 - 25 year olds

    4) What is the total budget for 0 - 25 year olds with a learning disability, autism or both in social care and education for:

    a) day opportunities

    b) respite (if possible broken down to overnight and day)

    c) support work

    5) How much have Herefordshire county council spent or forecast to be spent in contracted budgets and how much allocated to spend on Direct Payments for 0 -25 year old's with a learning disability, autism or both for the following?

  7. Under The Freedom of Information Act, please inform me as to how the Bus Services Improvement Plan 2023 funding is to be allocated and when. I see from the 1921 plan that frequency of services is a main priority for travellers. Bus services between County Towns and The City need to be restored to hourly with extra services for students. Bus services between villages, county towns and The City need to be improved to hourly in accordance with the Campaign for Rural England 2018 report, Every Village Every Hour.

  8. 1. How many public children's playgrounds were managed and maintained by you at the start of each of the last five financial years (a) 1.4.19, (b) 1.4.20, (c) 1.4.21, (d) 1.4.22 and (e) 1.4.23?

    2. What was your spend in each of the last five financial years (18/19) (19/20) (20/21) (21/22) and (22/23) on the maintenance, or improvement or development of children's playgrounds in your local authority area? If possible please break this figure down into (i) revenue spend and (ii) capital expenditure.

    3. How many accidents have been reported to you where people have been injured in public children's playgrounds for which you have responsibility in each of the last five financial years (18/19) (19/20) (20/21) (21/22) and (22/23)?

    4. In relation to accidents in the last financial year (22/23) please provide me with a summary of how each accident took place and the extent of the injury.

    5. For each of the last five financial years (18/19) (19/20) (20/21) (21/22) and (22/23) please state how much compensation has been paid to people who were injured in accidents that took place in public children's playgrounds for which you have responsibility? NOTE: I am interested in when the compensation was paid not when the accident took place or when the claim was lodged.
