3. Number of school-age children categorise as Children Missing Education (CME) in Herefordshire 2019

   I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:

   1. In 2019, how many school-age children did the local authority categorise as Children Missing Education (CME), as set out in Section 436A Education Act 1996.

   2. As of the date of this request, how many school-age children does the local authority currently categorise as Children Missing Education (CME), as set out in Section 436A Education Act 1996.

   For clarification: Children missing education are children of compulsory school age who are not registered pupils at a school and are not receiving suitable education elsewhere.

   In addition to this, I would like the following information:

   1. How many Education Welfare Officers, or equivalent school attendance roles, were employed by the local authority in:

   a) 2013

   b) on the date of this request.

5. Systems used for Online Payments

   1. What system do you use to take online payments from service users, and who supplies it?

   We are trying to view the licence online for TJ's, Hereford, HR1 2BP but have been unable to locate your public register.

7. Monthly number of full time equivalent days lost due to of sickness absence for social workers

   Question 1 Monthly number of full time equivalent (FTE) days lost due to of sickness absence from 1 April 2022 - 31 March 2023, for the following employee groups: a. Adult social care staff b. Children's social care staff

   Question 2 Monthly number of full time equivalent (FTE) days lost by reason for sickness absence* from 1 April 2022 - 31 March 2023, for the following employee groups: c. Adult social care staff d. Children's social care staff

   * Reason for sickness absence being type of illness recorded, e.g. anxiety/stress/depression/other psychiatric illness; Covid-19; Back problems, Cold/cough/flu; Ear, nose and throat etc as recorded by the local authority.

   I have attached a template Excel document comprising two worksheets for completion for the questions above, if helpful.

   Just confirm that the request for data is for both social workers/frontline staff and those who work in other areas of social care. Essentially, the whole team.

9. Public Health Funerals number and costs over the last 10 years

   I would be grateful if you could provide, where held, the following information - each broken down by calendar year (i.e. 1st January to 31st December inclusive) for the following years: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

   1. The number of Public Health Funerals that occurred in your local authority area, for each calendar year specified above

   2. Of these, the number of these Public Health Funerals that were a) Burials and b) Cremations, for each calendar year specified above

   3. The total cost of Public Health Funerals in your local authority area that were Burials, for each calendar year specified above

   4. The total cost of Public Health Funerals in your local authority area that were Cremations, for each calendar year specified above

   5. The total sum recouped by the local authority from the estate of deceased persons receiving a Public Health Funeral (burial or cremation), for each calendar year specified above

   6. In the case of cremations, if this data is held, the number of ashes remains that were not collected by a next of kin, and thus left for the local authority to arrange the disposal of, again for each calendar year specified above

10. Complaints Data

    I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information from Herefordshire Council.

    Please may you provide me with: ·

    A .csv file detailing a list of all the different complaints the council has received over the past 12 months.

    It would be great for the file to contain as much information about the complaints as possible under the Information Act.

    · This would include - the compliant type, heading of the complaint, what the complaint was about and the date and month the complaint was filed.

    · Include an overview of the data, sharing:

    · The total number of complaints in the past 12 months.

    · The percentage of the complaints upheld.

    · The complaint type with the highest amount of complaints.

    · The complaint type with the lowest number of complaints Please provide the information in the form of a table in a .csv format.

    If it is not possible to provide the information requested due to the information exceeding the cost of compliance limits identified in Section 12, please provide advice and assistance, under the Section 16 obligations of the Act, as to how I can refine my request.
