  1. On 19th December 2022 the Secretary of State for Levelling up, Housing and Communities released details of the provisional local government finance settlement for 2023/24.

    I would therefore like to request:

    • The change to your Core Spending Power (CSP) for 2023/4 over 2022/3 as a result of the local government finance settlement.

    • The impact of inflation on the council's 2022/3 budget, as measured against the original 2022/3 budget.

    • The estimated impact of inflation on the council's budget for 2023/24

    • How much you had originally forecast the inflationary increase in costs to be for a) 2022-3 and b) 2023-4 in percentage and actual terms.

    • Details of any loans (PWLB or money market) taken out by the council after 30/9/22 and the loan provider, terms and time period for these loans. I would like to request that the above information to be provided to me as both as paper and electronic copies.

  3. 1. In the last financial year (2021/22)

    (a) how much money was paid as compensation for property damage and personal injury caused by potholes (please include legal expenses), and

    (b) how many individual claims did this represent?

    2. Please tell me the value of the biggest claim settled in 2021/22, and the location of the pothole that caused the incident. Please provide a brief description of the incident (e.g. cyclist fell off bike going over pothole and broke their leg). If possible, please break up the cost of the claim between compensation paid and legal expenses.

  4. I am writing to make a Freedom of Information request for information, guidance, protocols or procedures in relation to the way information is organised on your internal intranet.

    Specifically, in addition to my previous request, I would also like to request the following information:

    1. Information on the overall architecture of your internal intranet, including any documentation or diagrams that illustrate how the intranet is structured.

    2. Any information related to the hierarchy or structure of the information on your internal intranet, including any documentation related to the use of folders, sub folders, and other organisational structures.

    3. Any guidelines or protocols related to the creation and use of links within your internal intranet, including any documentation related to the use of hyperlinking or cross-referencing.

    4. Any information related to the use of templates or other tools for creating content on your internal intranet, including any documentation related to the standardisation of formatting or other stylistic considerations.   7. I should like to know all the reasons for the placement of a camera on Aylestone Hill at the crossing at the lower end of Churchill Garden, just beyond the Moreland Avenue turning.

    Specifically I should like to know if it is intended to be connected to any system that identifies vehicles with a view to rationing or controlling road usage involving the use of penalties.

    I should like to know the location of other cameras of the same model installed in the last six months and their intended uses.
