  1. We are researching solutions that ensure equal access to safe, affordable and sustainable energy across all communities.

    Specifically, we are looking at ways of distributing information to households on how to reduce energy consumption. This would include things like government grants such as the Home Upgrade Grant and ECO4.

    1. What methods do you utilise to distribute information regarding home energy efficiency (such as grants or energy saving advice)? e.g. Letters, phone calls etc

    2. Do you specifically target this at low-income households, or do you distribute this to every household in your area?

  4. I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:

    • Does the Local Authority currently purchase live-in care packages? Live-in care is 24-hour care in a patient's home, living with the patient.

    • What is the average price for live-in care packages?

    • Please can you provide the name of the commissioner who commissions home care in the Local Authority.

    • Is there an open framework for us to apply for spot purchasing or an approved provider?

  5. We herein make a request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and would be grateful if you could provide us with the following information:

    1. The number of school employees (existing and retired staff to include teaching staff, school support staff and caretakers, etc) and ex-pupils that have pursued a claim against you for exposure to asbestos within a school in your county between 2016 and 2021;

    2. The number of these claims that have been settled between 2016 and 2021; and

    3. The amount of money that has been paid in settlement of these claims (with and without your authority accepting responsibility) between 2016 and 2021.

  7. Please can you provide all information for the financial year 2021-2022, and from the start of financial year 2022 to 31 December 2022, for the following:

    1. The total number of days during this period affected by strike action by any member of council staff or council contractors.

    2. The total number of hours lost to strike action (where council staff or council contractors did not attend work).

    UPDATE FOLLOWING CLARIFICATION: No - I would not like school staff to be included in these figures. Only council workers and council contractors.

    2 - Please confirm whether you have written and published a strategy pursuant to s57 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021;

    and 3 - If the answer to question (2) above is yes, please confirm the date it was published and provide a copy of the strategy;

    4 - If the answer to question (2) above is yes, please provide details of how you are giving effect to the strategy with reference to the statutory guidance on the same;

    5 - If the answer to question (2) above is no, please provide your anticipated timescales for publication of a strategy pursuant to s57.

  9. Please could you provide the school term dates set by your authority between the academic years 2006/07 and 2021/22? If possible, please could you:

    (1) supply these dates in .csv or .xlsx (Excel) format;

    (2) include the dates for each of the six half terms for each academic year;

    (3) for each half term, list the 'Open' date as the first day that local authority schools were open and the 'Close' date as the last day that local authority schools were open;

    (4) state that a school was 'Open' even if it is expected that all schools used that date as in INSET (in-service training) day;

    (5) ignore the early May bank holidays, Easter weekend (if not in holiday time), royal events, and any other nation-wide public holidays.

    If your authority has undergone boundary changes in this period, please indicate this in your response but still provide dates for the previous authority.
