Answer: The Service Area have advised Health and Care Workers have access to a company called Lifted who are commissioned to support the re-deployment of displaced workers. Displaced workers are care workers who have come to the UK from overseas and have lost their employment as a result of the care agency for whom they are working having had their license revoked.
Lifted helps to:
· Support Care Providers in recruiting and retaining sponsored workers who are already in the UK, while also ensuring compliance with their sponsorship licenses.
· Assist International Care Workers in finding employment.
Care providers who employ staff under an international recruitment sponsorship license have received this information. Workers also have access to the West Midlands ADASS information webinars.
c) For any mentioned above, the dedicated access routes to these resources.
