Response

Answer: No.

2) In regards of question 2 and the integrated waste management system, would it be possible to provide some details on what this involves . Please can you provide the annual costs and revenues (2021/2022–2023/2024) related to recycling, recovery, treatment or disposal of the waste collected in the integrated in the Waste management system?

Answer: The waste disposal contract includes responsibility on Severn Waste Service to manage and treat all of waste collected by Herefordshire Council. Severn Waste Services operate and run the MRF, EfW facility, landfill, transfer stations and the HRCs across the counties for both Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Unfortunately it is not possible to break out the data for costs as you are requesting. The costs are made up of a baseline cost per tonne and then on top of this there are further payments for different types of waste but also payments for the provisions of facilities such as the Household waste and Recycling centres, consignment notes for waste and administration fees.
