What is the specification the counties roads maintenance contractor has to comply with? What are the terms of there contract excluding any financial information? Does the County have any directly employed road maintenance labour? Please provide an electronic copy of the relevant documents.

What is the specification the counties roads maintenance contractor has to comply with?

A: The Highway Maintenance Plan provides details of the policy and strategy for the council, the current document can be found in the link below, please note this is currently being reviewed and updated.

Please find attached Schedule 4 Service Information Annex 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 and 0.4, which is the Base Line Specification for the Contract 4 (which is the Base Line Specification for the Contract) as well as the Pothole Repair Standard Detail.

The Annual Plans published on Herefordshire Council's web site, compliment the Service Information, see link below. Please note the 24/25 Annual Plan will be released in due course.

What are the terms of the contract excluding any financial information?

Does the County have any directly employed road maintenance labour?

A: Herefordshire Council do not employ people working directly on the network, the service is managed under the Public Realm Contract. However, they do have a small Highways Client team.
